The Last Warlock has been updated with new Quests, new multi-player maps, and new creatures to battle! In 'Death in the Swamps' familiar creatures have been mutated, making them more lethal than ever. Fight through relentlessly spreading blobs that consume creatures alive to combat the enemy Warlock and his Hydra. In 'Tomb of the Undead', the ghosts of your past have returned with a devious maze. You will have to fight through both the strongest of the Undead, and the ghosts of the ascended Warlocks. In additional, two new multi-player maps have been added, as well as various small bug fixes and balancing improvements.

Are these (and other updates) going to make their way to the iOS version? I am loving the game and would love to see more content added. Great job!

They were added to the iOS version back in June. All platforms have the same content.

I just purchased the game for Android on Google play and it crashes on start up. I installed the 1.36 version and it runs fine. Love the game but I will not be able to play these news maps and quests. Device is Chuwi&m Hi8

Does your device say Intel on the back of it?

I'm not completely clear on what has happened here. As the game does not support Intel processors (it only supports ARM), Google Play should be filtering it out and it should not be possible for you to purchase it from the store. If you can email me your purchase receipt to info@sonicsloth.com I may be able look in to it some more. How did you play v1.36? Did you download from somewhere other than Google Play?

Yes I did Purchase it directly from Google play. Paid for it $3.99. If you say it does not support Intel based tablets then I guess I am just happy I can play 1.36.

I believe some Intel devices can emulate ARM games which I guess is how you are able to play v1.36 But if they can do that, I don't see why it should be any different with the latest version. I can only guess that it is to do with how you are getting the game which is why I'm asking where you got v1.36 from and how you are installing the latest version. I'm more interested in what is happening here than whether you got v1.36 from a piracy website or not. So you can just tell me plainly.

I purchased and installed from Google Play a few days ago. Experienced crashes immediately after logo screen, so I uninstalled. Decided to try the older version. It works, crazy luck? BTW the older version also works on Phoenix OS on my laptop (not an emulator, an Android x86 desktop OS). The game works great with only mouse controls, very cool! Well except for in the tutorial when it asks you to use 2 fingers to manipulate the camera. Will try the updated version from Play Store on there to see if it works but game compatibility is hit or miss on Phoenix. Yes I had to dodge some pop-ups to get the older version but AFAIK it is the untouched retail. I did this only AFTER I had paid for it from Google! Really loving the game so I might get it on Steam for the updates, I just don't use Windows often though.

Thanks for the information Mike. The game was only built to run on ARM processors (which make up the vast majority of Android devices), but it seems some x86 devices can emulate ARM. Why some of them can run the latest version and some of them cannot, I have no idea, and as far as I know it is out of my control. I'm glad you seem to be able to play the latest now though!
